Naples has a lot to offer. One of the best ways to see what's going on locally is to purchase the Naples Daily News on a Friday and/or Sunday. The Friday paper will have a pull out section called "Floodlit" and Sunday "Neapolitan". The Philharmonic, Sugden Theatre, etc have daily events. Art shows, Classic Car shows etc are usually held downtown.
Barbara B. Mann Theater for the Performing Arts
The Barbara B. Mann Theater for the Performing Arts attracts some of the finest entertainers and theatre. It's located on the campus of Edison College.

Corkscrew Audubon Sanctuary
A 2.5 mile raised boardwalk allows visitors to walk over four environments: a pine upland, a wet prairie, a cypress forest, and a marsh. The trail also features a shorter route. Wheelchairs and strollers are available. Volunteer naturalists are usually on the boardwalk to answer questions. Field guides and children's activity books can be purchased at the Admissions desk/store.

Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge
The J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge is located on the subtropical barrier island of Sanibel in the Gulf of Mexico. It has Trails for walking and biking, and there are launch sites along Wildlife Drive for kayaks and canoes. Guided kyaking and Canoeing is available (239-472-5218). Guided tram tours are available through the refuge's concessionaire, Tarpon Bay Explorers. (See tarponbayexplorers.com) as are rentals of bikes, canoes, kayaks, pontoon boats, fishing equipment. Purchase bait and fishing licenses. Book a charter fishing trip.

Edison-Ford Winter Estates
Visit the Edison-Ford Estates to view the home and laboratory of Thomas Edison. Also see the amazing botanical garden he created for Henry Ford, his next door neighbor on the Caloosahatchie River. One of the 10 most-visited national historic homes in the country. Daily tours. Shops.

Gulfshore Playhouse
Gulfshore Playhouse was created to fill a very obvious niche in the Naples Arts Scene. We currently have plenty of fantastic community theatre such as the Naples Players and the Pelican Players, and "The Phil" continues to impress and awe with National Tours of Broadway Musicals, Symphonies, Ballets and Operas. Gulfshore Playhouse intends to fill the space in between.

Naples Depot Museum
This is a Collier County Museum. It is located downtown on the corner of 5th Ave S (US41) and 10th St S. What a jewel! It is a must see. This outside living museum is informative and fun to visit. Count on at least an hour if not more. You will not be disappointed. It is an oasis in the middle of Naples. An electric mini railway circumvents the museum and is enjoyed by children and parents alike.

Naples Hammerheads Rugby Club
The Hammerheads are Southwest Florida's only mens' rugby club. They play throughout the State in Division 1, having recently been promoted from Division 2 after finishing in the Final 8 nationally.

Naples Museum
This is a Collier County Museum and it is nestled on five acres of native Florida gardens. The Naples Museum showcases two historic cottages, a working archaeology lab, a Seminole village, tropical orchid house, wildlife displays, a 1910 steam logging locomotive and a recreated Seminole War fort. This museum serves as our headquarters and has been open to the public since 1978. School and civic groups are welcome and may arrange for guided toursr by calling the Museum in advance. It is located behind the Court House on US41.

Naples Philharmonic Orchestra
The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra is increasingly recognized as one of the leading young orchestras in the United States. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

Sugden Community Theatre
The Sugden Community Theatre is the home of The Naples Players, a community theatre located in the City of Naples in Southwest Florida. Sun n Fun Lagoon
Naples' newest attraction for children of all ages is North Collier Regional Park, with the Sun n Fun Lagoon. This water park features slides and waterfalls and pools for young to old. The park is open year round and is located on Livingston Road just south of Immokalee Road.
